Who we are
This website, tomopt.com, is operated by Tomlab Software AB (organisation number 556746-5710), Lovisedalshöjden 59, SE-186 53 Vallentuna, Sweden. What we collect and why
Accounts and demo requests. When you register for myTOMLAB or request a demo license, we collect your name, e-mail address, phone number, organization, the products you are interested in, the type of demo and any message you write. Your password is only stored in hashed form. We use this to create your account, verify your e-mail address, deliver licenses and support, and contact you about your request. The legal basis is performing a contract with you, or taking steps at your request before entering into one.
Contact form. When you send a message or a quote request, we collect your name, e-mail address, phone number, your message and the products you mention, so that we can reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps before a contract when you ask for a quote.
Cookies and local storage
Strictly necessary. When you log in to myTOMLAB, a login token is stored in your browser's local storage so that you stay signed in. We also store your cookie choice there. These are needed for the site to work and do not require consent.
Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited. Google Analytics sets the cookie _ga and a second cookie whose name begins with _ga_, which are kept for up to two years. Google Ireland Limited processes this data on our behalf, and it may be transferred to the United States, where Google is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. No analytics cookies are set if you decline.

Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass it on to our resellers or distributors. We only share it with service providers that process it on our behalf, such as our web hosting and e-mail providers, and Google for analytics if you have accepted.
How long we keep your data
We keep account and license data for as long as you have an account or a customer relationship with us, and messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data deleted
- restrict or object to our processing
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that has already taken place
